Honoring the Spirit of Saudi Arabia: A Personal Reflection through Cosmodreams

Saudi National Day is a celebration not only of a nation’s founding, but of its spirit — a spirit I have come to deeply admire. Over the past few years, my artistic journey has led me to explore the rich layers of Saudi culture, history, and landscape. What I found was a world of profound beauty, strength, and symbolism—one that resonates deeply with my own creative language.

As an artist, I’ve always believed in looking forward while honoring the past. My project Cosmodreams/Desert, which I will proudly present at HIA HUB this November, is my homage to Saudi Arabia’s evolving identity. It’s a visual dialogue between heritage and futurism — where the ancient tombs of Al-Ula coexist with spacecrafts, and sacred cities like Diriyah transform into mythic dreamscapes glowing with celestial energy.

At the HIA HUB booth, we will create the atmosphere of a night in the desert — soft lighting, shadows, and immersive visuals will invite visitors to pause, stargaze, and imagine themselves at the heart of the dunes. In the next moment, perhaps they’ll witness a giant robot emerging from beneath the sands—a symbol of awakening and technological wonder. This surreal experience is part of the dreamlike world I hope to share.

As part of the presentation, I will also perform live painting — a ritual of creation and expression, allowing visitors to witness how a vision comes to life in real time.

I feel honored to contribute to HIA HUB — an event that celebrates creative excellence and cultural vision. As an international artist, living between Munich and the wider world, I consider it a privilege to take part in this extraordinary moment of creative convergence.

Saudi Arabia has inspired me immensely. I look forward to returning not just with artworks, but with a heart full of gratitude and respect.
