Cosmodreams Workshop Brings Families Together for a Creative Adventure
Families gathered to immerse themselves in a variety of artistic activities, all inspired by the enchanting “Journey with Cosmodreams” exhibition.
The workshop started with a guided tour of the exhibition. Participants explored the imaginative universe created by artist Marina Fedorova. Children interacted with augmented reality (AR) content by scanning QR codes. Additionally, virtual reality (VR) headsets provided an immersive experience, allowing the children to navigate through an interactive cosmic environment.
Interactive installations included the Playground Hall and an activity at the alien-themed bar, where children played a game to win prizes. These activities encouraged participants to think creatively and set the stage for the workshop that followed.
In the workshop, children were guided in creating their own representations of a cosmic starry sky. They used dark colors to craft backgrounds, painted or stamped shapes of planets, and added various textures to depict celestial bodies. Parents assisted throughout the process, fostering a spirit of collaboration.
The event ended with children showcasing their artwork, which represented their interpretations of the universe. The workshop stimulated engagement with art and provided a platform for exploring creative techniques.
“Journey with Cosmodreams” is organized by Sputnik Partners and takes place until February 16, 2025 at the Shanghai Powerlong Museum.
This workshop is part of a larger initiative by the Shanghai Powerlong Museum, emphasizing the importance of integrating artistic exploration with educational programming to inspire curiosity and creativity. Sputnik Partners is pleased to support the initiative and organize the workshop.
