Cosmic Tribute to Air, Water, and Nature
Fann À Porter Gallery is hosting Cosmodreams: Elementa, a solo exhibition of Marina Fedorova, running at The Workshop Dubai from January 6 to January 20, 2025. This exhibition explores the intersection of traditional art and digital technology, offering a breathtaking exploration of nature’s core elements. With air and water as her muses, Fedorova presents a celestial take on the interconnectedness of life and the environment.
The central theme of Cosmodreams: Elementa revolves around the natural elements of water, air, and earth, which are creatively depicted through artistic portrayals of waterfalls, mists, and clouds. These elements are explored as vital to life and as influential forces in shaping human civilization. The exhibition showcases a diverse range of media, including graphic art, limited-edition color prints, 3D-printed works, and pieces enhanced with augmented reality (AR), allowing viewers to engage interactively with the artworks.
During the opening ceremony, Fedorova showcased a live performance using the ink-on-silk technique, allowing guests to witness her creative process. The exhibition emphasizes environmental issues and encourages viewers to reflect on their relationship with nature, aiming to inspire a sense of shared responsibility for the planet’s future.
The exhibition is curated by Sputnik Partners and aligns with Fann À Porter Gallery’s mission to foster contemporary art and community engagement through exhibitions.
