Ateliers SP to foster
passion for creativity
Known for preserving and restoring cultural heritage, artisans d’art possess unique know-how and skills passed down from generations within their communities. They create timeless products that maintain their traditions, express their culture and keep their identity. With a vision to ensure that the artisans d’art communicate their activities and advocate the art of workmanship, as well as to contribute to the continuity of their traditions and expertise, Sputnik Partners establishes Ateliers SP. Its primary focus is to work with artisans d’art to find the most special technique and deliver exceptional quality and experiences by creating one-off artistic pieces.
Ateliers SP grew out of Sputnik Partners’ previous collaborations with artisans d’art to highlight the diversity and uniqueness of artisanal skills. The collaborations clearly demonstrated the need for a more comprehensive and dedicated approach, which is now possible with Ateliers SP. They encompassed a design created by Sputnik Partners’ team in collaboration with the artist Marina Fedorova, and the implementation was realized with selected French artisans of excellence to deliver one-of-a-kind design objects.
The ongoing collaborations with artisans d’art include:
Frédéric Hamel – Cabinet Maker
Nelly Saunier – Plumassière (Featherworker)
Fanny Boucher – Héliogravure Artist (Photo engraver)
Marie Levoyet – Héliogravure Artist
Michel Heurtault – Umbrella Maker
Serge Amoruso – Leatherworker
François-Xavier Richard – Wallpaper maker
