A New Rising Force

In her latest Hia column, Marina Fedorova shows how diversity and collaboration between artists lead to more original ideas and more inspiring designs

We are living today in an era of increasing creativity, where the boundary between the art of drawing and construction is erased. The aesthetic sense and the search for beauty and harmony have always accompanied us. We were taught to draw with chalk and paper, but now creativity is taking shape between the material world and the digital world. Every new day brings forth something new, and you see yourself in a position to agree to present your work to the world through multiple layers of reality and imagination. Whether in design or details, there is always a desire to express oneself.

I have practiced my art based on three pillars: art, technology, and emotion. I entered the world of digital art, blending my ideas and visions with technology and connecting them with all forms of art -including painting, sculpture, and architecture. At Cosmopolitan, I learned how to harmonize beauty with practicality, and to extract the finest details from every opportunity. I felt empowered in my field and found great strength, especially when I met powerful, smart, ambitious women who encouraged me to move forward. I thank God for that and hope for more years to come.

And here, I see that the essence of creativity in our time lies in the identity of the artist – whether he/she is Russian, European, or Arab. There is no longer one single school; the true world of design integrates all creative experiences. Today’s young generation is passionate, and their aspirations go beyond the boundaries of tradition. Each creative person brings out the unique details that form the overall picture and add value to the world of art.

But, what’s most important is not the result itself, but the journey and the experience. Whether it’s through painting, architecture, or digital design, the artist’s soul reveals itself through what it conveys, what it shares, and what it leaves behind on the path of creativity. We must believe in ourselves and be open to new experiences and challenges, regardless of our backgrounds. Art is enriched by diversity, and creativity flourishes when we share and collaborate, learning from each other.
